Deputies shot a Rogers County man armed with a compound bow and arrow during a domestic dispute Saturday night. The Rogers County Sheriff's Office requested OSBI special agents investigate the officer-Involved shooting that involved several deputies, a news release states.

RCSO deputies were called to the 8400 block of South 4220 Road in Foyil for a domestic dispute around 10:30 p.m. April 15. Sources tell News On 6 Shane Alexander Tresner choked a woman as she held a baby and threatened to kill her.

Rogers county deputies said they shot Shane Tresner multiple times.

Investigators said they went the home to help resolve the domestic dispute, but when Tresner refused to drop the weapon three deputies opened fire.

Yellow crime scene tape is all that left of the chaotic scene that unfolded along a road near Foyil.

"I heard some shooting. We have a gun range not too far but that sounded closer," said Foyil resident Freddy Most.

Most and his parents live right across the street and the gunshots woke him up.

When he looked out the window the night sky was lit up with police lights and eventually an ambulance.

"Kind of concerning because you don't know what's going on. Someone could be trying to get over here," Most said.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is taking over the case.

Preliminary information released said Tresner "refused to comply with deputies' repeated commands to drop the weapon."

Three deputies fired their weapons at Tresner, striking him several times.

"I did see when the guy was on the ground. I saw one guy run back, a police officer, grab a few what looked like towels or bandages of some sort," Most said.

The next thing he knew, a helicopter was landing in his yard preparing to rush Tresner to a Tulsa hospital, Most said.

"I'm glad not one else got hurt," he said.

So far there is no update on Tresner's condition, however, the woman and baby involved in the domestic dispute weren't hurt.
