Tulsa police announced plans for a DUI checkpoint this weekend. TPD said the checkpoint is part of the department's work to raise awareness of the dangers posed by DUI drivers including injuries and death.
The checkpoint will be start at 10 p.m. Saturday, April 22 and run through 3 a.m. Sunday, April 23 in downtown Tulsa.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol will also take part in the sobriety checkpoint, a news release states.
