Owasso Police Pursuit Ends In Arrest

A driver is behind bars after Owasso Police say he led them on a chase that reached speeds of 100 miles per hour. Police said it started as a traffic stop near 86th and Mingo.

Officers say Robert Newsom sped through Tulsa then crashed near Highway 11 and Harvard.

Newsom, 30, was checked out and then arrested.  Police say Newsom did not have a valid driver's license. He was booked on that complaint as well as eluding and speeding.
