The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a 44-year-old Nowata man died following a crash on Highway 60 east of Bartlesville Wednesday afternoon.

In their report, troopers said Robert Corle was killed when his motorcycle was struck by a westbound car which had crossed the center line.  The driver of the car. Kimberly Deatherage, 26, also of Nowata was flown to a Tulsa hospital where she was treated and released.

The impact caused both vehicles to catch fire.

The 5:23 p.m. crash near the intersection of county road 4030 closed Highway 60 in both directions for just over four hours.

An investigation into what caused the crash continues by the OHP.
