Cave-In Prompts Closure Of Tulsa Road

A Tulsa road is closed until Saturday, August 19, 2017 due to a cave-in.

According to the City of Tulsa, the street caved over a sewer line at 36th Street. The City said all of 36th Street is closed on the west side of Lewis.

The City also said a single southbound lane of South Lewis is also closed at East 36th Street.

Crews are working to repair the problem, but the City said the street will likely be closed until Saturday, August 19, 2017.

Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area if possible, and to slow down if driving in the area.
