Get to know another member of the News On 6 team. Joseph Holloway is a reporter who is on the scene, on the story every weekday beginning at 4:30 a.m. for 6 In The Morning.

1. What was your first job in television news?

My first full time job was as a reporter for a TV station in Fayetteville, Arkansas (where I went to college). I did everything! Shooting, editing, writing, running live shots. I even learned how to run a live truck! I remember nothing. I also picked up random freelance behind-the-scenes jobs in college for some national sports shows.

2. You have 15 minutes of free time, what do you do?

Either I'm sleeping, driving around or at the gym. There's not much in between really.

3. What’s in the console of your car?

A container of mints and my trusty "News On 6" thermos. It keeps drinks cold for 18 hours. I love it.

4. What’s your hidden talent?

I can sing well, I know all the U.S. capitals and I won 5 spelling bees.

5. What was your high school mascot?

The charging wildcat. The "charging" part is a long story.

6. How would you describe Tulsa to someone who’s never been here?

Tulsa has whatever you're looking for - whether it's great nightlife or somewhere to get off the grid. This place is the picture of resilience and kindness. I've met some of the most amazing people here. I'm glad to be an honorary Tulsan!
