Tulsa Police are looking for three women who robbed a senior citizen in his home near 41st and 129th East Avenue.

Officers said the homeowner is an elderly man and his caregiver was also there at that time.

They said someone knocked at the door around 10:00 Thursday night and the caregiver went to answer it - that's when the three people forced their way in, armed with a knife.

Police said they demanded money from the homeowner and took off in a black Cadillac Escalade.

Officers don't believe the robbers knew the victim.

Tulsa Police Officer Jeanne MacKenzie said crimes targeting senior citizens are especially heartbreaking.

"To prey on the elderly or children, those people, I think, are the worst kind of criminals," she said.

Police said no one was hurt in the armed robbery.

If you know something about this robbery, you are asked to call Tulsa Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
