Officials say the pressure rose enough Sunday morning for them to turn the water on for housing units at the facility.
However, the service level is currently not enough to sustain full water usage long term.
If a higher water volume is not reached, housing unit water will be shut off again to allow the system to recover.
DOC leadership and prison management have been monitoring the situation to see how the issue develops.
A crew is looking into the problem to determine what needs to be fixed.
