Armed Robber Takes Elderly Woman's Purse, Tulsa Police Say
TULSA, Oklahoma - Tulsa Police are searching for a man they say robbed an elderly woman.
Police responded to an armed robbery in the 1000 block of South 95th East Avenue just after 11:30 Monday morning.
They said a woman had returned home when a man drove up, approached her with a large knife and demanded money.
Police said the man took her purse then drove away.
The armed robber was described as a white man with a full beard, possibly in his late 20s or early 30s, around five-feet-seven-inches or five-feet-eight-inches tall and between 145 and 165 pounds.
The vehicle he’s believed to have left in was described as a newer four-door, dark blue pickup with an extended cab.
