Poteau High School teachers spent Friday, September 22nd, cleaning up their classrooms after a pipe burst Thursday morning flooding dozens of classrooms.
The LeFlore County school district closed the high school Thursday and Friday.
KFSM, the CBS affiliate in Fort Smith, reports parents were notified that a cleaning service will spend the weekend cleaning up and making sure the water has not caused mold or other problems.
Poteau Superintendent Don Sjoberg said classes will likely resume on Tuesday.
The School asks that parents keep an eye on the high school's Facebook page for any updates.
All other Poteau schools were not affected.
