A Tulsa police sergeant pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count of outraging public decency after being charged with assault and battery on a police officer.

Sergeant Dedlorn Sanders was off-duty when he punched an on-duty officer during a call for service, according to Sergeant Shane Tuell.

Two families with a common child had a disagreement as they prepared for the child's birthday party on June 30, 2017. Sanders was called to assist his daughter, the mother of the child, the affidavit states.
