USGS: 3.1 Magnitude Earthquake Recorded In Kingfisher Co.

A small earthquake shook up residents in Kingfisher County, late Friday afternoon.

The 3.1 magnitude earthquake struck at approximately 4:05 p.m. Its epicenter was located just two miles north, northwest of Dover, 27 miles south of Enid and 44 miles north, northwest of Oklahoma City.

It was less than a mile deep.

At this time, no damages or injuries associated with this quake have been reported.
