WWII Navy Veteran Honored At Funeral

On the home front, we're honoring the service and sacrifice of a 91-year-old Green Country veteran.

Funeral services were held Friday for World War II Navy veteran Billy Joe Sullivan at Fort Gibson National Cemetery.

News On 6 learned Sullivan was homeless and had no family in the area.

The Navy gave him full military honors and the Patriot Guard Riders were also there to honor him.
