Tulsa Officer In Training Buys Food For People In Need

Officer in training Shane Statum made a stop at the QuikTrip on East 61st Street Wednesday.

While he and his training officer were there they spotted a couple on bikes outside the store.

The officer says they looked hungry and offered to buy them lunch.

He let the man and woman pick out whatever hot food they wanted and paid for it.

The officer in training says he was just doing the right thing.
