OK State Health Department Cutting 160 Positions

The State Health Department is cutting more than 160 positions across Oklahoma Thursday.

In Green Country, there are as many as 11 in Creek County.

Many of the workers are employed at county health departments. They range from custodians to registered nurses.

The department expects to save $10.5 million a year through the cuts.
