News On 6 and Mullin Plumbing recognized another "Impactful Teacher" on Thursday.

LeAnne Taylor and Tess Maune surprised Vicki Garrett, who is a pre-K teacher in Sperry.  She wears a different costume every day to school.

When we surprised her, she was wearing a Jack-O-Lantern costume, because the kids were learning the letter "J."

Garrett has been teaching for 13 years and says it's very rewarding.

"These kids are part of my life. Their hugs mean a lot. Just seeing them get excited and learn new things is wonderful," said Vicki Garrett.

She'll get a $250 VISA gift card to buy classroom supplies and maybe a new costume or two. Mullin Plumbing is also providing a one-year platinum air package valued around $500.

Nominate an "Impactful Teacher" here.
