A 3.1 magnitude earthquake was recorded in Major County, Tuesday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The earthquake struck at approximately 6:24 p.m. 12 miles southeast of Waynoka, 17 miles west-southwest of Aline, and 95 miles northwest of Oklahoma City. The earthquake's epicenter was more than 3 miles deep.
No injuries were reported.
