Woman Shot In Chest During Tulsa Home Invasion, TPD Says
TULSA, Oklahoma - Police say a woman is shot during a home invasion late Sunday.
At around 10 p.m., officers responded to a home in the 2800 block of North 44th Place North about a shooting.
Police Captain Michael Williams says witnesses tell officers, three men ranging in age from 18 to 21 knocked on the door, then forced their way in when someone answered. The trio ordered no one move and started shooting when a teenage daughter in the home ran to the back of the home.
During the shooting, a 41-year-old woman was shot once in the chest. Captain Williams say she was taken to the hospital. Her condition is unknown.
After the shooting, he says the three men left the home and ran off.
