Deputies ID Two Men Arrested Following Standoff At Tulsa County Home
TULSA COUNTY, Oklahoma - Two Tulsa man are in jail after a four-hour standoff at the same house where Tulsa County deputies say a man shot his family in a double-murder suicide.
The sheriff's office says neighbors called after seeing 45-year-old Willie Lott and 44-year-old Dunniven Phelps break into the home near 61st and North Frankfort Tuesday afternoon.
When deputies got to the scene, they found a broken window and saw Phelps climbing out a window. He was arrested. According to their report, Phelps told deputies Lott was still inside the home. After calling in their SWAT team, deputies arrested Willie Lott.
"This was a huge concern for us because there are a large amount of guns and ammo in the house," said TCSO spokesperson Casey Roebuck.
The sheriff's office tells News On 6, those guns will be removed from the home.
Both men are being held on complaints including burglary and possession of stolen property.
