TULSA, Oklahoma - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol and Tulsa Police are looking for a man after a Tulsa traffic stop led to an altercation with troopers Sunday evening.

Troopers said they pulled over a car on I-44 near Highway 169 around 10 p.m.  The OHP says the driver and passenger in the car got out and ran off.

The unidentified driver was arrested after getting into an altercation with troopers.  The OHP says the driver threw a backpack containing marijuana into a nearby pond during that altercation.

The passenger is still being sought.  

The driver was arrested on complaints of speeding, felony amount of drugs, and evading arrest.
