Court Dates Set For Tulsa, Jenks Students Charged With Rape
TULSA COUNTY, Oklahoma - Two area high school students charged with rape were in court on Wednesday.
Corbin West and Jacob Davis are accused of the September 2017 rape of a 15-year-old girl.
Davis, an Edison High School student, and West, a student at Jenks High School, are alleged to have sexually assaulted the girl after she had been drinking with several other teenagers and then passed out.
On Wednesday, West waived a preliminary hearing and further time to plead. The court bound him over to the district court for arraignment on April 30th.
Davis did not waive a preliminary hearing and will be back in court on May 30th for a hearing to determine whether he will be certified as a juvenile and not a youthful offender.
West and Davis are both charged with first-degree rape.
