Appeal Denied In Second Degree Murder Case

A Bethany man will spend the rest of his life in prison after a court denies his appeal.

Ike Nicholson is convicted of second-degree murder in the death of 44-year-old Vallon Broadus. Tulsa Police say Broadus was found dead in a crashed car in October of 2015 near West Independence Street.

Police say Broadus had been shot several times outside the car. According to the Department of Corrections, Nicholson has prior felony convictions, including attempted rape as well as robberies and drug crimes.
