Shots Fired During Auto Theft In Tulsa

Tulsa Police are investigating an auto-theft in which the victim exchanged gunfire with the suspects.

According to police around 4:30 p.m., they received a call from a Tulsa man who said his truck had been stolen early Saturday morning. The man also claimed that on April 13 his house had been burglarized with several of his keys being stolen but not his vehicles.

The victim then claimed that he had encountered the suspects after the theft and exchanged gunfire with them and shot out a tire to his stolen truck. Officers say the truck was located in a field after the residents found it on their property.

According to Tulsa Police while they were at the scene they stopped a suspicious vehicle in the area. The driver admitted he was there to pick up the suspects of the theft after receiving a call from a female suspect. He was released the police are still looking for the suspects.
