North Tulsa Leaders Announce Creation Of New Chamber Of Commerce

Community leaders in North Tulsa are coming together to help attract new businesses to Northeast Oklahoma.

Thursday the group announced the creation of the "Black Wall Street Chamber of Commerce". Organizers say the goal is to fill a void that's been within the Greenwood district for quite some time.

"We kinda got a mixed group of board members that will bring creative ideas to our chamber and to our community, " said Sherry Gamble-Smith the CEO and president of the Black Wall Street Chamber of Commerce.              

Organizers are inviting the community to their first monthly luncheon on May 17th at the Doubletree downtown, from 11:30 to 1 pm.
