TULSA, Oklahoma - One Tulsa organization is using this weekend's festivities to raise money for a good cause.

The Humane Society of Tulsa hosted their annual "Ritas for Rescues" benefit for homeless pets tonight. There were unlimited margaritas, Mexican food, raffles, and of course furry friends.

"We have over 200 people coming tonight and people were lined up at the door at 5 o'clock and it just warms our heart that so many people want to come out and spend time with the animals and help us raise some money." Said Gina Gardner President of the Humane Society of Tulsa,

If you missed the event today, organizers say they are always in need of pet food. You can drop off donations at any Humane Society of Tulsa location.
