Oklahoma's baseball team had an impressive start to the postseason Friday with a 20-10 win over Mississippi State from Dick Howser Stadium in Tallahassee, Florida.

The Sooners, under first-year coach Skip Johnson, will play the winner of Florida State and Samford at 4 p.m. Saturday.

Oklahoma jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first and increased that lead to 5-0 before the Bulldogs fought back to tie it 5-5 in the third. Mississippi State would take a 10-7 lead before the Sooners scored the game's final 13 runs.

The Sooners tied their season high for runs with 20.
