TULSA, Oklahoma - It's only August, but volunteers and committee members of a special Tulsa tradition are already looking ahead to December.

The Tulsa Christmas Parade announced the theme of this years event is "Miracle at Boston and 4th Street."

Parade officials say this year you can expect to see your favorite movies, like Polar Express, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and How The Grinch Stole Christmas, brought to life.

"I mean its going to be amazing if you have a favorite holiday movie expect to see it come alive," said Paul Ross with American Waste Control.

The parade is Saturday, December 8th and starts at 1 p.m.
