We are just weeks away from the opening of the Gathering Place and Tulsa realtors say the park is having a big impact on home sales in the area.
Realtors say there's only a handful of houses for sale right now in the neighborhoods near the Gathering Place.
They say a lot of people have been calling and asking about homes near the park, but there's not many to choose from at this point.
Josh Rainwater with Coldwell Banker says he's moved several families to Tulsa who have left jobs with tourist attractions, like Sea World, to come work for the Gathering Place.
He says the park is driving up sale prices in Brookside, but it's taking a lot less time than normal to sell those houses.
"Before, it may have taken 2 or 3 months to sell a property and now within a month," said Josh Rainwater.
The Gathering Place is set to open on Saturday, September 8th.
