ROGERS COUNTY, Oklahoma - A sand truck crash blocked 106th Street North, east of North 145th East in both directions for several hours Monday morning.

Police say the driver was eastbound around 6 a.m. when the truck went off the county road for an unknown reason. They say the driver over-corrected, rolling the truck onto its side and dumping the sand.

Police say firefighters have been able to contain fuel from the truck before it got into a nearby creek.

The driver was taken to the hospital. There is no word on the extent of his injuries.

Sooner Emergency Service was called to the scene to clean up the spill.

Police said they were able to reopen 106th Street North around noon.
