STILLWATER, Oklahoma - The Cowboys open on Thursday night against Missouri State and all eyes will be on OSU's new but old starting quarterback.

After 4 years of watching and waiting, Taylor Cornelius finally gets his chance to start.

"I wish it was here tomorrow, I mean I think we're just ready to get this season started and get that first game going," Cornelius said.

"He's been great on the driving range, hadn't been on the first tee. He'll get on the tee Thursday night and we'll find out where he's at," said Head Coach Mike Gundy.

Cornelius, or Corn Dog as he's known, as the starting quarterback isn't the only thing new for the Cowboys this fall. A giant video board will make its big debut on Thursday night.

"The quality and the clarity is unbelievable and how close it is that in our west end zone those are the seats that sometimes we still have to sell they're going to be gone," Gundy said.

The board should have plenty of opportunities to showcase good plays by the Cowboys. Missouri State has only won 8 games the last 3 seasons.
