It’s Labor Day weekend and there are several fun events happening around Green Country.

Carson and Barnes Circus is making a stop in Tulsa.  There will be three shows Saturday and Sunday – 1:30, 4:30, and 7:30 p.m.  An hour before showtime, there will be a free petting zoo and elephant or camel rides.  Tickets are $20 for adults and $12 for kids.

The Vintage Tulsa Show is this weekend, where you can explore quality antique dealers.  The show runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.  Tickets are $8 for adults, $4 for kids ages 9 to 12.  Kids 8 and under get in free.

You can enjoy some jazz while sipping on wine from local wineries at the 4th annual Post Oak Wine and Jazz Festival.  There will also be several food trucks on hand.  Gates open at 3 p.m. Saturday and the event lasts until around 10:30 p.m.  Admission is $10 per person.  On Sunday, you can enjoy a Champagne-Jazz Brunch.  Brunch starts at 10 a.m.  Admission is $26 per person and there will be brunch, fresh pastries, and a mimosa bar.  Organizers ask that you call ahead and reserve your spot at the brunch.

The Blue Whale Comedy Festival is wrapping up on Saturday at Soundpony and Cain’s Ballroom.  Admission is free at Soundpony.  Tickets at Cain’s start at $35.

This month is also the Tulsa Zoo’s 90th birthday!  The zoo opened in 1928 and Tulsa’s first Parks Superintendent believed the zoo would help to preserve many species of native animals that were nearing extinction.  The zoo has grown to house hundreds of animals.
