Tulsa Sheriff Talks Immigration Reform During White House Visit
WASHINGTON - Tulsa County Sheriff Vic Regalado is returning home after meeting with the President and other government leaders Wednesday in Washington, D.C.
Sheriff Regalado made the trip to discuss immigration reform with 43 other sheriffs from across the country.
While in Washington, he also met with Oklahoma Senator James Lankford.
In a post on the sheriff's office Facebook page, Sheriff Regalado caught a selfie with Vice President Mike Pence.
The sheriffs then all gathered in the White House's East Room for a photo with President Trump.
The president thanked the sheriffs for their efforts to tackle crime across America, which he says is one of his administration's top priorities.
