While in Washington, he also met with Oklahoma Senator James Lankford.

In a post on the sheriff's office Facebook page, Sheriff Regalado caught a selfie with Vice President Mike Pence.

The sheriffs then all gathered in the White House's East Room for a photo with President Trump.

The president thanked the sheriffs for their efforts to tackle crime across America, which he says is one of his administration's top priorities.
