Sapulpa Man Arrested, Accused Of Hitting Person In Head With Pistol

A Sapulpa man is in jail after reports of a shooting in midtown Tulsa on Saturday.

Tulsa police say James Hair admitted to hitting a person on the head with a pistol and a bullet was fired into the air when the person was struck.

Officers arrested Hair for assault and battery with a deadly weapon and reckless handling of a firearm.

Police have not released the condition of the victim.
