A trooper at the scene told News On 6 the driver of a gray Toyota Corolla was westbound on the highway and crossed the center line into eastbound traffic. The Toyota sideswiped one car then hit a truck head-on, the trooper said.

Two people were taken to the hospital with what OHP said were non-life threatening injuries. One man was handcuffed and loaded into the back of an OHP vehicle.

OHP did not comment on why the man was taken into custody.
