Tulsa Police are continuing to search for several people after a stabbing across the street from McClain High School.

Mike Kula says he was working at the gas station near 46th and N. Peoria when a fight broke out.

"I heard some cussing and yelling and I turned around and there was 8 or 10 kids jumping a grown man," said Kula.

Kula says he tried to break it up but there were too many people so he called 9-1-1. Tulsa Police and the Sheriff's Deputies arrived quickly.

"Some of these kids 6 foot 2, one of them was probably 350 pounds so its kind of one of those deals," said TPD Sgt. Marcus Harper.

Police say some of the teens threw bricks and cinder blocks at the man and damaged his vehicle.

"It appears that a gentleman was defending himself and several young adults, some of these young adults were quite large were stabbed," said Sgt. Harper.

Police believe the man stabbed three of the teens who later showed up at Tulsa hospitals. Police say they are still trying to figure out how and why this all started.

"It’s gonna be a matter of trying to track parents down and get statements from them and try to figure out why this thing started and how it escalated the way it did," said Sgt. Harper.

Police are still looking for the kinds that left the scene.

"Bricks and knives and a lot of people where involved and that's a bad combination," said Sgt. Harper. "I'd like to get everyone's version of the story."

The man did not go to the hospital. The three teens all suffered minor injuries.
