Gathering Place Falls Short Of Guinness World Record Due To Delayed Start

Tulsa’s Gathering Place says they came close but did not break the Guinness World Record for most people dancing the Electric Slide.

They had the original singer, Marcia Griffiths, lead the crowd in the dance, but the park says they started later than advertised because of the heat.

They said they delayed the start for the safety of guests and volunteers.
