TULSA, Oklahoma - Police say a nine-year-old boy is expected to be OK, after his bicycle was struck at a Tulsa intersection Monday morning.

Just before 6:45 a.m., officers were called to 3rd and Lewis in front of the Warehouse Market.

Police say an eastbound Dodge Ram struck the southbound bicycle, knocking the boy off the bike. EMSA took the boy to the hospital to be checked out.

They say the boy was riding his bicycle to school.

Officers said the truck driver was not cited and the damaged bicycle was turned over to the boy's parents.
