Tulsans have an an opportunity tonight to speak up about what they'd like to see in the city's "Arena District."

The district surrounds Tulsa's BOK Center.

Tonight, an open house is the third and final chance for Tulsans to check out the proposed concepts of the Arena District Master Plan, that's set to transform the west side of downtown.

The Arena District has nearly two million visitors a year, thanks to huge concerts at the BOK Center and a lot of traffic at the Cox Business Center.

The project in the works would redevelop 30 blocks of downtown Tulsa around the BOK Center.  The vision includes more street-facing retail, new restaurants, mix-use offices, and housing.

It calls to incorporate public art and landmarks to generate more visitors.

Tulsa also wants to make it easier to get from the Arena District to other parts of downtown, like the riverfront and Tulsa's Gathering Place.

The Arena District master plan is a Vision Tulsa-funded project.

It kicked off in July with a $55-million renovation of the Cox Business Center.

The open house and workshop is from 5 to 7 p.m. at Tulsa's Central Library at 400 Civic Center.
