Whirlpool broke ground Monday on its new factory distribution center in Tulsa's Cherokee Industrial Park.
The company says the $55-million center located next to his current manufacturing facility will create more than 100 jobs, adding to the 1,600 who already work at the factory.
Whirlpool hopes to finish construction on the new facility in less than a year.
