A woman has a warning for others after a teenager grabbed her in a busy area near 51st and Yale in broad daylight. She is the third victim in the past month and police want women to be alert as they look for him.

Monica shared her story with News On 6 in order to help others avoid it happening to them.

Monica: "He approached me and hopped over the wall, asking the time. I told him what time it was and continued walking."

Lori Fullbright: "You figured he was going that way."

Monica: "I figured he was walking in the opposite direction. The next thing I knew, he grabbed me from behind with both arms and started to grind against me."

She yelled no, then used her elbows to break free, told him she was calling 911 and chased after him until the 911 operator told her to stop, just to be safe.

"As soon as he was running away, that was an immediate thing, that it could've been worse, he could've stayed and tried to hurt me in a different way," said Monica.

Police told Monica she was the third victim in the past month. The other two cases happened across the street at the YMCA parking lot. They caught a picture of him on their surveillance cameras. The women describe him as a skinny teenager.

The first victim was walking out of the YMCA carrying her child when he came up and grabbed her behind and took off. The second victim was bent over, putting her child in a car seat and focused on that, when he came up behind her and grinded against her, then ran away.

All three called police, which detectives say is the right thing to do because people who commit these types of crimes often escalate to more serious sex crimes.

"It was very disturbing, it felt very gross, it felt very dirty and in fact, it made me feel quite nauseated," Monica said.

If you've also been a victim of this type of crime but didn't report it initially, police would like to hear from you. And also, if you recognize the guy in the picture, call CrimeStoppers.
