According to the city council's agenda, an ordinance is back up for discussion during the meeting today.
The name change comes from City Councilor Blake Ewing and proposes changing "Matthew Brady Street" in downtown Tulsa's Arts District to "Reconciliation Way."
If approved, the change would happen on February 1st, 2019.
The meeting takes place starting at 5 p.m. at Tulsa City Hall.

Tulsa re-named the street in August 2013. It was simply "Brady Street," named after Tate Brady, but was changed because of his ties to the KKK.
The street is now "Matthew Brady Street," named after a Civil War photographer.
If the City Council approves, it would still need to be approved by the Mayor before the change takes effect.
