Tulsa County deputies are searching for an ex-convict they believe led them on an overnight chase.
Officers said they tried to stop a Buick Rendezvous with a headlight out, but the driver refused to pull over, instead fleeing the scene. The driver went east on Admiral Place and onto 122nd East Avenue, where he bailed out of the vehicle once he realized he couldn't turn around.
He jumped over a fence and deputies say they last saw him running onto a car lot.
They say items they found in the vehicle indicated the man they're looking for is Jessie Allen, 38.
They called in the Tulsa Police helicopter to help with the search but didn't find him.
"He was able to figure out that, ok, this is a lot more than a headlight out. This is stolen firearm, sawed off shotgun, lots of ammunition," said Capt. John Bryant with the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies questioned a female passenger in the car then released her.
