Tulsa Man Dies In Muskogee Turnpike Wreck
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a Tulsa man died in a wreck on the Muskogee Turnpike Monday morning.
The wreck took place near the Wagoner/Coweta exit in the westbound lanes at 3:38 a.m. Monday.
According to the report from the OHP, 33-year-old Mitchell Hope of Tulsa was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu when it collided with a 2005 International semi driven by 49-year-old Regina Tucker-King of Memphis.
Troopers said Hope died at the scene, Tucker-King wasn't hurt.
Troopers said they have not determined the cause of the crash. They plan to examine the semi's and car's data records - if available - for more information.
The OHP reopened the turnpike at 11 a.m.
