TULSA, Oklahoma - Our Oklahoma Weather experts are forecasting another round of wintry weather this weekend and people at the John 3:16 are getting ready for big crowds.

They say this season’s early frigid temperatures are putting a bind on the shelter’s budget. That combined with an above average homeless population puts the shelter over capacity.

“We’ve got a problem that’s a civic problem, a cultural problem, a city problem that we didn't anticipate this number of people would be homeless,” said John 3:16 CEO Rev. Steve Whitaker.

Reverend Whitaker says the shelter needs warm clothes and monetary donations.
