The Muskogee County Sheriff’s Office now has body cameras thanks to a grant from the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office. This will be the first time the sheriff’s office has access to such technology.
“This is just another tool at our disposal. It will help keep the public and deputies safe,” said Sheriff Rob Frazier.
The 20 new cameras will be put into service Monday of next week. They were made possible by a $30,000 Safe Oklahoma Grant that the sheriff’s office received earlier this year.
