Skiatook Man Hit, Killed On Tulsa Co. Highway

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a Skiatook man died after being struck Sunday evening while walking on Highway 11 in Tulsa County.

Troopers identified the man as 52-year-old Robert Vaughn Harper.

The OHP says Harper was pronounced dead after arriving at at Tulsa hospital following the 7 p.m. collision due to massive injuries.

In their report, troopers stated Harper was struck by a northbound Chevy pickup driven by a Skiatook resident, who wasn't hurt in the collision.

The incident happened near the intersection of East 151st Street North and Highway 11 just north of Skiatook.
