Tulsa Police Chase Winds Through School Parking Lot

Tulsa Police released video of a wild police chase that made several passes through a Tulsa elementary school playground. Police say they tried to pull Stephen Hinson over for not wearing a seat belt, but he took off- winding through city streets near Apache and Sheridan.

Dashcam video released Thursday shows the chase as the suspect drives through a parking lot - and then onto the playground of Hamilton Elementary School.

Police say Hinson led them on a loop that took them through the playground two more times before getting stuck trying to go off road near some homes.

Police say they learned Hinson had six warrants for his arrest, and they found drugs in his pickup.
