Cookson Tornado Damage Not Enough For FEMA Help

There will be no help from FEMA for the people of Cookson after that November 30th tornado.

There will be no help from FEMA for the people of Cookson after the November 30th tornado. The government said there is just not enough damage to qualify for FEMA assistance.

The State Insurance Department will be available next week at Cookson Fire Department to answer any questions.

Residents Of Cookson Cleaning Up After Tornado 

The Cherokee County Commissioner, Cookson Volunteer Fire Department and Chicken Creek Fire Department along with other agencies are working to help with recovery efforts, according to the Cookson FD.
