TULSA, Oklahoma - An Oklahoma woman is using animals to help heal those who are hurting. Linda Goldner and her husband Bill have Oasis Animal Adventures east of Disney, and all sorts of animals call the place home including Rex the Kangaroo.
Linda and Rex visited 6 in the Morning to tell us more about a new book they released and how they are working to help others.
Oasis Animals have an animal park filled with camels, kangaroos, zebra, lemur and horses who have been socialized from a young age and love to interact with people. The park is open for field trips, animal therapy classes and animal handling training.
Linda said the animals help people heal and help some that are suffering start to open up and trust so they can get the help they need.
