Man Dies After Being Shot Outside Tulsa Apartment Complex

Police say a man died after being shot in the head outside an apartment complex next to River River West Festival Park.

Police say a witness called 911 after hearing a single gunshot just before 7:30 p.m. on Monday, December 17, 2018.

Officers found the man lying in the parking lot in the 1900 block of South Jackson Avenue. He died a short time later at the hospital.

Detectives have not released information about a suspect. Police have identified the victim, but have not released his name pending next of kin.
